Due to the situation surrounding Covid-19, we are unfortunate to announce the cancellation of Colorado Springs Pridefest 2020. We support the “Safer at Home” guidelines issued for the state and wish to keep everyone safe by not hosting a festival and parade.
While this announcement is devastating to many, we want the community to come together during this time and focus on protecting those who need it now more than ever.
Pridefest is an inclusive place for those to express themselves openly and without fear/judgement. We want to continue this tradition by always creating a safe space for LGBT+, when it is safe to do so. The continued support 30 years after Colorado Springs Pridefest is greatly appreciated, and we hope to make the next festival the biggest yet!
Although we are disappointed in the cancellation, we look forward to celebrating Global Pride on June 27. We also hope to create digital opportunities for people to show off their pride, and will be announcing more on that here and on social media.

Some notes about the festival:
We encourage you to enjoy your time at PrideFest by bringing sealed water (1 per person, not for resale), a picnic for you and your family, chairs, umbrellas, your friendly leashed pet, and anything else you may need to make PrideFest your favorite thing you did this summer.
Items prohibited: No weapons of any kind, any unsealed beverage, and unleashed or aggressive pets. We will conduct searches at the gate to make sure everyone can enjoy a safe time at PrideFest.
There is a $5 entrance fee (weekend pass) to help offset costs associated with PrideFest, including enhanced security to ensure a safe place for festival-goers. We have teamed up with CSPD to create a plan of action for security and have, we believe, taken every precaution to ensure safety for everyone.
We want everyone to enjoy PrideFest, so if the $5 entrance fee represents a hardship for you or your family you can volunteer to work shifts at PrideFest for complimentary admission.
